The docents of the Stone Harbor Museum act as the gateway to the history of our beloved resort town.  Our volunteers, 40 plus strong and counting staff the museum in 2 ½ hour shifts to welcome our visitors and guide them through our exhibits. It is a rewarding, heartwarming and fun task as tourists or homeowners enter the museum to view our collection, share stories and search for beloved pictures and artifacts from past summers

Docents can be anyone with a love of Stone Harbor, resident or not. On the job training is offered and new docents are paired with experienced ones for the first few shifts. If you would like to join our ranks email us at director@stoneharbormuseum.org
