One of the newer acquisitions in the 1910 upbuilding of Stone Harbor includes this portrayed apartment house, built and owned by Harry K. Mountney, of 646 Cambria Street, Philadelphia, Mr. Mountney’s structure was located on Third Avenue and 96th Street, and had 4 complete suites of apartments. Notice the 2 sweeping porches on both the front and the rear of this building. The location near the Great Channel was known for spectacular evening sunsets. Mr. Mountney received his land free as did all purchasers under the Stone Harbor Bond Plan.
