No. 53 – Regatta Day at Stone Harbor Yacht Club.

Shown here is a newspaper photo with caption published and clipped from a local South Jersey seashore newspaper.  As would become a most popular annual Fourth of July tradition, the Stone Harbor Yacht Club would over the years conduct all kinds of boat racing – both motor boating and sailing.

This particular July 4, 1916 image depicts many spectators all dressed up for the grand patriotic occasion and assembled for an exciting holiday at Stone Harbor.
