No. 28
Very little is known about the 2 structures shown in this particular Stone Harbor Museum archives photograph. What we have ascertained is simply that the large 3-story structure with a partial basement in the rear is the Simpson brothers Cottage that was apparently built in 1909. The small single story square office next door has a painted sign over the door simply stating “PENN BUILDING CO.” Should any of our viewers be able to supply us with additional information regarding this scene, we would be most appreciative hearing from you. Some questions we seek to answer include (1) what is the actual location or street address and (2) does anyone know if this building is still standing? Thanks in advance for your help!
