The annual baby parade, usually held on the Fourth of July, was a very popular feature on the Stone Harbor boardwalk every year. This charming 1920s photograph features children dressed in an assortment of lovely costumes that harken back to what we might call well known story-book characters. Sometimes prizes were given out for the best-dressed. Say, is that Little Bo Peep who I see near the front of this line? Can you recognize some other very fashionable costumes of that era?
