As is often the case, most photographic images residing in the Stone Harbor Museum archives contain very little if any documented or descriptive information. Such is the case with the photo shown above.
All we know is what we can surmise. And it appears that this well-maintained, lovely awninged house may have been photographed on the occasion of the 4th of July as evidenced by the American Flag placed on the tree lawn. This circa 1920 sepia-toned photo does however portray one important feature. Do you know what that might be? It seems to me this photo reveals the Stone Harbor School #1 that is partially visible on the right edge of this picture. What do you think? We also know the No. 1 School was built in 1915.
