No. 73 – “The Mathews Cottage” at Stone Harbor, N. J.

This photo was obtained from the Stone Harbor Museum archives and was used in conjunction with a 1916 real estate advertising brochure.  The descriptive information provided about this rental property was as follows:  “90th Street between 1st and 2d Avenues, on lots 52, 54, block 90 (50 X 110).  Two stories and attic, 12 rooms and bath (6 bedrooms), and laundry in basement.  Rent, furnished, June 1st to October 1st, $350.  Sale price on application”.
