Although never officially named Second Wind this is what Anne imagined for 135 101st street since the first moment she stepped into this special space in the early 80’s… A place for people to come and rest awhile and to get their second wind while enjoying some sun and salt air.  In many ways, the home has indeed been a place of pause and restoration; a host to dreams, love, change, and even loss over several families and generations.  No matter the circumstances, coming through those doors always feels peaceful.  The house has sustained many damaging storms and has even been rebuilt from the inside out due to a flood caused by bursting pipes.  It’s as if this house knows, from experience, what to offer the weary traveler and how to sooth the wandering soul.

On July 11, 1999, Anne had a surprise visitor from Owen Parry, the grandson of Edward O Parry to meet and introduce himself to the new owners.
