Feedback from our Patrons regarding the Art Contest

Hello!

We loved spending the morning doing art and appreciating SH during this challenging time. Thanks for the contest project! My son, Eli, was off screens for the AM – a huge win.  And, I keep saying, I want to get out my water colors and this actually made me do it!
Attached is my adult submission and my child’s (10 yrs old) submission.
Thanks again for the fun!

Hi, this is my age 16 and up art contest submission.

My family and I are life-long visitors to SH, as we have had a family home since the 60’s.
This shadow box beach tag display represents the years and memories since our family built a new home on our property in 2005.
The missing space in the display is the hope for a beautiful 2020 summer at the shore. Our entire family loves Stone Harbor!

Hello –

Thanks for running these contests.  I really enjoyed the opportunity to reflect on my family’s Stone Harbor experience.

The wildlife of Stone Harbor and Cape May county enriches our lives so much: the birds in the sanctuary, the deer off the island, the turtles on the Stone Harbor boulevard… This area is the ocean, the beach, and so much more. Spending more time here this spring, we are grateful for the opportunities to discover the area and to have occasional encounters with wildlife!

Submitted for 16-110!

Hi, attached is a picture of my art.  Despite the coronavirus, I love spending my summer in Stone Harbor.

Hi Stone Harbor Museum-
What a wonderful contest! Thank you for hosting. Stone Harbor is close to our hearts. My husband has been coming here since he was a boy and his mom is a full year resident now. Our kids are making memories for life when we visit her.

Full disclosure, everyone was social distancing (yay!) but I just drew everyone closer.

Hello!
Here is my submission for the Stone Harbor Museum art contest. My favorite Stone Harbor activity is taking walks on the beach at sunset with my family, and this painting was inspired by these memories. I am 15 years old, so this entry is for the ages up to 15 category.

Thank you so much!

My husband and I have been vacationing in Stone Harbor for 46 years. I wove this peaceful beach scene in honor of my husband’s love of Stone Harbor and his dedication to helping to keep the town a better place for all.
